Somehow yet another huge blunder has gotten by the producers of a local news program. The people over at Greenbay’s NBC 26 need to do a little better with their image gathering. My guess is that some intern went quickly to Google Images, nabbed the first photo that looked right for the piece (without giving it a second thought) and didn’t bother actually looking at the tag line. The tag line was of course what you see below.
I know Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are delicious…and particularly crack-like when that red light is on…but I’m not so sure they deserve quite the praise they’re getting here. Klondike has the slogan “What would you do for a Klondike?” Maybe Krispy Kreme needs to come up with something along those lines.
