Punctuation On Teleprompters Is Important

Although this anchorman should have been able to space the intro and the headlines better, it’s important for the teleprompter to have proper punctuation.

This is Ken Bastida of KPIX, a CBS affiliate in the San Francisco Bay Area market. I’m actually a longtime fan of Bastida, one of the staples of Bay Area TV for decades now. But maybe after this flub he should move down to the San Diego area because he reminds me of Ron Burgundy a little.

As Ron Burgundy once asked, “I’m Ron Burgundy?”
