Looks like becoming “internet famous” can also make you “internet infamous”. Similar to what became of Ted “Golden Voice” Williams. It looks like Mr. Dodson was speeding, got pulled over and was found to have marijuana in his possession.
This all took place in Huntsville, Alabama where he was faces five misdemeanor charges, including marijuana possession. After being released he let off a barrage of Tweets (@antoinedodson24).
“Court was [expletive deleted]”
“Damn I didn’t kill anyone did I??? Its Just weed!!! You know that stuff that grows like grass?? Yeah that! !!”
“Well Obviously Mercedes Benz strike attention when ur young Black and German!!!LoL!!!”
“Let me be the first to tell it!! So just got out of jail off a weak charge. LmaORoTfF!!!!! Got pulled over in my Benz and they got me. Damn!! I never been in jail except that time in grade school. You remember!!!”
“I don’t deserve to be here. I never got in trouble for nothing in my life,” Dodson told reporters as he left the courtroom Monday. “I got pulled in over in my Benz, Mercedes E-Class.”
Apparently becoming famous quickly doesn’t mean that you get any wiser or change your ways…it just means the stupid things you were doing before are now going to be seen by a whole lot more people. There should be a course that internet “stars” take before their first Today Show interview. I must say, of all the recent stories, I have a little respect for how Rebecca Black has handled her online mockery.
