"At the Hospital"  Sung to the tune "Margaritaville"

Nibbling on Jell-O
In a room with a fellow
All of those nurses tend to my need
Strumming my six string, fell off of the stage thing
Ow my head, I hope I don't bleed

Wasting away again at the hospital
Searching for my long lost button to call
Ain't it a shame that I got no one to blame
'cause I know it's nobody's fault

Gotta full bedpan
Doc said 'good job man'
Nothing to show but this big nasty bruise
Oh it's a really beauty
My nurse is a cutie
How it got here I haven't a clue

Wasting away again at the hospital
Searching for my long lost button to call
Ain't it a shame that I got no one to blame
Now I think - hell it could be my fault

I filled out some papers,
Signed off on a waiver,
Cut on my head had me wish I was home.
But there's B12 in the IV,
And soon, well I might be
That chem concoction helps heel my dome.

Wasting away again at the hospital
Searching for my long lost button to call
Ain't it a shame that I got no one to blame
But I know, it's my own damn fault.
Yes, and some people claim that there's a woman to blame
And I know it's my own damn fault.
